The garden seems never ending, especially when it's hot, but I will get it planted! I will! I've decided I need to knock it out today before it rains tonight. Just get it done.
I'm doing more vertical gardening this year so I could get more of a variety of plants in. I think that's what is taking me so long, building all those structures for the cukes and beans. By the way I have a tutorial on how to make a bean teepee here.
This is what my table looks like right now. Seeds everywhere! My book I'm reading, Chevy in the Hole, is waiting patiently for my return.

What a great deal on ground beef, Vicky! Is it alright if I post a link to the gluten free bread recipe? It's a youtube video. Might be easier than me writing it out for you!

That's great Jennilee go right ahead and post your link. I would love that. Your menu sounds delicious. I was just out planting cucumbers now!
We are about finished with the container garden. It is much bigger this year so has taken a lot more work.
We will have hamburgers and corn on the cob twice, hamburger gravy and mashed potatoes, a new pasta dish twice and homemade pizza this week.
Lana, I'm glad your container garden is bigger. Prices are so high. We just went to a greenhouse/market and he wanted $3.99 a pound for Amish tomatoes! Anything we can grow will help a lot!
Your menu sounds delicious!
We had pork butt roast in crockpot and put bbq sauce on it, along with slaw and corn on the cob for Memorial Day. We have leftover of that and other meats and vegetables this week. I have another pork butt ready for the crockpot and a hen thawing. So, we will eat well, just whatever strikes us that night.
Sounds like a wonderful tasting plan. I love BBQ pork!
We just harvested the last of the lettuce and broccoli. Can't wait until the garden starts producing summer produce! Here's the link for the bread recipe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Paf_9JSckGg&t=618s
Jennilee, I can't wait to give it a try. Thanks so much for the link.
I love this time of year too...thinks are starting to pop in the garden. Our lettuce bolted in the heat we had but the mustard greens will be picked tonight along with some green onions.
