The biscuits I made and then filled with ham and cheese for the freezer. |
It seems as though this week's list is not as long as it usually is. I spent most of my time making sure that we were able to get some great deals grocery shopping. Then I made a lot of freezer meals this weekend to help us through the next couple of weeks.
Our sweet little granddaughter who promises to keep our lives busy for awhile. We are very proud grandparents. |
My husband sharpened all my kitchen knifes for me. Some I had to dispose of but most were in good shape after sharpening.
We found two estate sales by us and went back the second day when they usually will discount everything 1/2 off. I bought another small crock pot ($3.00) and some pillow cases for $1.00. Husband also found a kitchen knife sharpener for me! I've noticed how yellow this pretty pillow cases were when I took the picture, I'll have to research how to make them whiter.
One of the workers for the sale had some farm fresh eggs for $3.00 a dozen. I bought two dozen just in case we don't get a chance to go for a ride in the country soon.
I took the survey for Kroger for more fuel point rewards this morning. I got caught up with the rest of the rewards on Saturday. We used our fuel points that I received from BzzAgent for Kroger and was able to get gas for $1.23 a gallon! We saved 70 cents a gallon. Those fuel points really help.
How did you save last week?
