My Frugal Ways this Past week,What Was On the Dinner Table and My Goals for the Week 8/14/16

My Frugal Ways this Past week-Cleaned the pantry shelf

Cleaned my canning pantry and counted how much I had left from canning last year.  Because of the drought this years garden didn't produce as well as last years.

I grilled on Monday and cooked three meals ahead.

I won $25.00 gift certificate from the library!  I participated in the Reading Challenge for Adults program  and  put my name in a drawing once a week.  Last week I was also gifted a $5 McDonald's card just for participating.

Completed the Kroger survey for more fuel points.

We went to some garage sales and found some great deals.   Including a commercial Kuerig for $25.00, more books, and some clothes for me.

Used my $10 off $10 coupon at JCPenny and bought a new shirt for me for $1.92.

Please excuse the somewhat blurry picture I'm trying to hide the fact there is a big crack on the other side. It's resting on two heavy duty paper plates. I loved reading Rhonda's blog post how she uses paper plates for gatherings and decided that was a good thing.

Mess made with chocolate cake

Plus I'm exhausted after I had to clean up my mess this morning. Tip: Just be careful and add the hot water slowly ...umm like the recipe says!
