A much different Black Friday!

So, I remember being in Menard's a couple of months ago and using my rewards money for my purchase.  I said to the cashier how I usually save them for Black Friday but I guess there won't be one this year.  She said she believed that there would be and I said well I won't be coming if there is one.  She acted so surprised!  I guess she is seeing the light now.

So, Black Friday is different this year, the stores are running sales right now.  Little by little I've been gathering up purchases that I see on sale or just for a good price.  So, be sure look for them at the store or order them for delivery to your house if you can.  I've bought shoes, Kids toys, household goods, etc.

It's going to be a much different Black Friday!

I have been buying presents as I find them on sale. I had more luck with walmart than amazon this year so I'm almost done with kids and dh. Not sure if we will see extended family in person, so they may get gift cards.

I buy so few Christmas gifts that I just order online what everyone wants....I only buy for four people.

But I did buy my grandson a few things this morning. I went to our year Dayspring sale & bought him a match game...plus my Christmas cards, calendars & a few other things just for fun.

I also went into Walmart to find gloves for him. I bought just a cheap set 2 pair for $1.24 because I figured we might have a hard time keeping up with them. And a good warm pair for more, in hopes that we have a good snow to play in. Fingers crossed!

I shop at two stores...Walmart & Aldi....& they really never give deals or sales like other grocery or department stores do.

My daughter has said Wal-Mart has had some great deals. Gift cards sound like a great idea..next year will be a better Christmas for get togethers.

Yes, we just get what they want too...that's the best way. Plus a few extras.
I wonder where all the mittens go..they lose them all the time!
The temperature dropped 30 degrees today..her snow is possible!

I am glad you mentioned that about Black Friday. We have been getting some ads in the mail and I was confused about the dates. Going and fighting the crowds in a panic frenzy is not something I want to do. They were always sold out when I got there anyway.

We will be giving cash only this year. It is what everyone needs.
