My Frugal Ways this Past Week 10/11/15

Here are the ways I've saved money this past week:

Picked the last of the peppers and beets out of the garden this past week.

The garden clean up is finally on a roll.  I took down the bean poles yesterday and found more of my heirloom Rattlesnake green bean seeds to save.

When we went grocery shopping we looked in the clearance and found 7 packages of marked down Nathan's Hot dogs for $1.71 each.  They were not out of date so I was not sure of why they were marked down.  Yes,  I bought and then promptly froze all seven! We we also able to find sour cream marked down.

I also picked up the last two Free Friday Downloads at Kroger.

Cleaned up daughter's flower garden and she gave me her bricks (we would of course done it anyway).  I will be using these to finish the fire surround for the backyard.  We will stack the rest to use around flower beds in the Spring.

Made up two t.v. dinners for the freezer.

I cut my SOS pads in half.  Makes me feel better about throwing them away due to rust or dirt.

What did you do to save money this week?
