I finished planting the vegetable garden plus a few flowers yesterday!
My number one animal problem so far are birds. They think I planted a feast just for them! So I put up tin pie plates to make noise and an owl to help scare them away.
Now it's too wet to do anything else today so I can now concentrate on neglected house cleaning!
I made my own plant markers for my herb garden with material I already had.
This week I made sure to use the leftovers. I came up with different ways to hide them or use them up.
I was able to hang clothes on the line to dry quite a few times with the nice weather we had this past week.
What was on the menu last week:
Monday Out to eat
Tuesday Tator Tot casserole
Wednesday BLT'
Thursday out to eat (daughter's treat)
Friday Pork chops, peas, and mashed potatoes.
Saturday hot dogs potato chips
Sunday Baked chicken, baked potatoes, and corn.
My goals for this week
Clean the living room carpet.
Clean out the china cabinet drawer. It has become a catch all.
Blog:
Read and review a book.
What ways have you saved this past week?
