Menu Plan for the Week of 11/13/17!



I've been in bed for two days and never have moved (I have read two books in that time).  I'm not sure if I'm coming down with something like a cold or if everything just caught up with me.  I probably just need to remember The Art of Doing Nothing!  You can really run yourself down  if you don't watch it.   So this week  Menu plan I want great dishes on the table that don't require too much cooking. Hopefully the first two days of the menu will have me on the road to recovery from what ever my problem is! 


Menu Plan

Monday           Mustard greens (canned from the garden), mashed potatoes (instant),  cornbread, and grilled chicken on the George foreman grill (make enough grilled chicken for Tuesday menu).

Tuesday           Homemade chicken noodle soup

Wednesday      BLT's  (save a few slices for Friday's menu)

Thursday          Leftovers

Friday               Cheeseburgers with bacon, french fries if someone else peels them otherwise it's potato chips.  

Saturday            Out to eat

Sunday              Roast with all the fixin's.  I'm just going to dump  put it all in a slow cooker.  


Menu tip of the week:   Have a wide variety of ideas for your menu so you can take it easy when you want or need to!
